Twenty two years ago, I was blessed with having a beautiful daughter with a mental disability. Through her I was introduced to the world of people with special needs and the importance and high demand for the care they require. I soon found a passion for helping the people who need it the most. I obtained a Certification in Nursing Assistant and have been fortunate enough to get the opportunity to work with people, young and old, with a variety of needs and obstacles including cancer and dementia.
Through years of work in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and a Personal Care Home, I have found that a place with fewer residents and more attention to each resident's personal needs makes for the highest quality of life possible for our residents.
In 2007, with the help of my beloved family, Isabel's Place was open and since then we have provided care to many wonderful people who became part of our family. My awesome staff and I feel very satisfied in doing everything in our hands to provide high quality care to our residents and help them spend this stage of her lives in the best way possible. We enjoy treating them to small things that make their days better, like their favorite food or candy (have I mentioned we make home cooked meals daily?), and listening to their stories which they love to proudly tell.

My grandmother was in Isabel's Place care for many years, in all those years, I knew she was in great hands. I never worried about her care. I always felt comfortable with Isabel and her staff. They were patient, kind, and professional. I am thankful for Isabel and the service she provided for our family. October 2018.
Approximately 6 months ago, my sister and I were looking for the best possible place for our grandfather, who had been placed in Hospice care, to spend the rest of his days. After visiting several facilities, we found the perfect place. This facility is actually in a residential neighborhood. The home is immaculate at all times and has a beautiful, clean atmosphere. It has all the personal feelings of home, including accommodations for their special needs. It's so nice to have caring, loving professional taking care of our grandfather each day. Every time we visit him, he talks about how nice they are to him and seems to enjoy the company of the other residents living with him. I don't think he would feel this comfortable and loved at a nursing home, where he would be just another patient. Our grandfather has received such good care that he has now been released from Hospice. Even though he's no longer under Hospice care, this is a place where he can stay until the Lord is ready for him to come to his eternal home. We are thankful that our grandfather will not have to be moved again at this age, with this existing mental and health conditions.
