It is led by Isabel Penichet, with 15 years of experience as CNA. Isabel's Place is more than an establishment or a facility, it is a home. Rather than an institution with boring gray hallways and clinical employees, where your loved one becomes just another customer, we run a cozy house in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, with highly trained workers ready to welcome residents in like family. No one gets lost in our house, no one goes unnoticed.

Companionship is key to a trusted relationship with our caregivers. We not only strive to help you with everyday tasks but want to develop a caring relationship with you. We provide one-on-one attention and care that cannot compare in other settings.
Until my retirement in 2015, I was a homecare/Hospice social worker for over 20 years. Over the span of my career, I had been in an out of numerous care homes, some much better than others. In my view, Isabel's Place was the absolute best. I had visited patients there for several years, and always recommended this place to adult children seeking care for their loved ones. I always impressed with the quality of care, cleanliness, and genuine concern that Isabel and her staff showed their residents.
Suddenly, in February of 2014, my own Mom, Elsie, needed placement. I was so fortunate to secure the one opening they had at the time. Mom has been with them over four years now. They take wonderful care of her and treat her like a member of their family. They are not just "babysitters" who take care of physical needs, but active, loving caregivers who engage the residents in activities, giving them lots of hugs, love and attention.
They keep detailed records of medicine administration, eating and bowels habits, as well as attention to their residents' emotional state. They are very open to home care and hospice agencies and keep a good line of communication with doctors, nurses, and resident's family members. I couldn't be happier with the care my Mom receives from these wonderful people!
Isabel, I can't begin to thank you enough for the care that my mother receives at Isabel's Place. Her overall health has improved, and she is gaining weight! This is a surprise and the direct result of your group's care and attention. I appreciate your conscientious attitude and the kindness that my Mother receives. When my mother needed full-time care, we were blessed to find Isabel's Place. Words will never express the gratitude we have for all the staff at Isabel's Place. Anything she needed or wished for, they made happen. I have made it very clear to my family that when the time comes that I am unable to care for myself, I want to live at Isabel's Place. Because living is what happens there, not just existing. I want to know that I will be loved by those who care for me, just as my Mother knew. Isabel's Place is a gift that we feel so fortunate to have discovered; a gift that we are so happy to have been able to give my mother when she needed it most.
